Dr Prakash Raje, an alumnus of MGM Medical College Indore, did his MBBS in 1976.

Later he did his Diploma in Clinical Pathology in 1980 from MGMMC Indore after which he joined Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, to obtain his MD Pathology

After doing his MD he worked at the institute as Senior Resident in Cytopathology.

In spite of having several lucrative job offers in premier institutions in the country and abroad, he chose to return to his home town Indore and established his own laboratory in 1985.

He was the pioneer of incorporating FNAC as a regular pathology service in Central India. FNAC still

remains his mission and passion.

In 2003 he joined Bombay Hospital Indore as Senior Consultant, Surgical Pathology and Cytology. He

took retirement from Bombay Hospital in 2019 He has served The Association of Pathologists of Indore and IAPM in various capacities. Presently he is the vice president, MP Chapter of IAPM. He also served in the Indian Armed Forces as Captain in Army Medical Corps

His hobbies include travelling, driving, classical music, old Bollywood movies and songs, good food

and reading. He is an enthusiastic teacher and mentor to many.

And he is a good orator and an author. His book Rang Badlataa Soora)" was published last year.
